Resumption of PNP Basic Computer Essentials Certification Examination thru Computer-Based Training System (CBTS) (Update)

The PNP Basic Computer Essentials Certification Examination (BCECE) thru the Computer-Based Training System (CBTS) for PNP personnel who failed the previous exam held from 2014 to 2015 as well as for new examinees with birthdate covering June 16, 1979 and later. The revised PNP BCECE exam is internet-based and contains multiple choice-type questions. This project is initially being offered for those who failed the previous exams.

PNP Information Technology Management Service (ITMS) will conduct the Computer-Based Training System for SAF, AVSEGROUP and PROs. CBTS will also aid PNP personnel to be familiar with useful computer-related topics through the instructional video and reading/review materials incorporated in the CBTS website.

Retakers may now register at using their payslip account number/badge number for the review (video/pdf files) and examination proper. Those who will register are advised to use Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer browser to easily fix the security error that may be encountered. Once registered, your email address will be used as the username in your subsequent session log-in, and use the password encoded during the registration process. The examination date will be announced later.

The schedule of exam in PRO9 for organic personnel will be from December 5, 2017 to January 16, 2017. Participating personnel from the Regional Support Units may coordinate with designated proctors from the nearest Police Provincial Office.
