Hundreds of Muslim students and faculties from Addhiya Islamic School benefited from the Anti-Terrorism Forum entitled as “Role of Ulama in Peace building” held at Addhiya Institute, Maestra Vicenta, Sta. Maria, Zamboanga City on July 22, 2017. The forum with the theme “Pagsumadja Sin Magkasi-Lasa” centered on the role of Ulama in suppressing violent extremism in Zamboanga Peninsula was one of the highlighted activities of PRO9 in celebration of the 22nd PCR month.
Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) envisions the reintegration of transformed drug surrenderers to the workforce towards a self-reliant and productive citizens for a peaceful and more progressive Zamboanga City, thus it conceptualized the community-based Healing in Oneness Policing Through Education (HOPE) Program in the last quarter of 2016, with the mission to assist holistically the healing, education and employment of drug surrenderers through skills training and referral to concerned agencies and collaboration of different stakeholders to support and uphold objectives of the program.
Over a hundred Police Investigators from Police Regional Office 9 and PRO ARMM have undergone a three-day seminar conducted by the Directorate for Investigation and Detective Management (DIDM) led by PCSUPT ERIC SERAFIN G REYES, Deputy Director, held at PRO9 Multi-Purpose, Camp Col. The activity will focus on Homicide Cases Under Investigation (HCUI) Case Review, CIRAS Event Reporting Refresher, CIRAS Crime Analysis GIS Team Tutoring and Validation of Uncomplied Pending Admin Complaints by PROs/Seminar on Procedure of Pre-charge Evaluation and Investigation.
