Siocon No. 2 Most Wanted Neutralized in Police Operation

Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte – A man listed as the No. 2 Most Wanted in Siocon and wanted for murder and robbery charges was killed after he he fought it out in a gunfight with the police during a manhunt operation conducted by operatives of Siocon MPS, 3rd Mobile Platoon PPSC and 13th Special Forces Company in an isolated area of Sitio Manalan, Barangay Pisawak at about 5:45 AM on March 13, 2015.

Police Senior Inspector Malahay Said, Siocon Police Chief, said that the wanted man Noel Bulay-og y Quilat alias “Bulhug” sustained multiple gunshot wounds on the different parts of his body and was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician of Siocon District Hospital. Noel Bulay-og was a lawless element operating in Baliguian and Siocon Municipalities with the following pending arrest warrants - murder docketed under CC No. 2013-04-05 (1031) dated May 8, 2013 and robbery with homicide with aggravating circumstances of serious physical injuries docketed under CC No. 2014-04-05 (1103) dated August 27, 2014 all issued by Presiding Judge Laarni N Dajao of RTC9, Branch 27, this municipality. Recovered from the scene were the following – an unexploded MK2 hand grenade, pain reliever tablets, one improvised shotgun and five eounds of 12-gauge ammunition. The cadaver of the slain suspect was turned-over to his relative for proper disposition.
