Another PNP member of the Police Regional Office 9 has displayed a heroic act for helping and saving the life of a victim of a vehicular accident that took place in front of Sta. Cruz Market in Zamboanga City. His deed has gained positive reactions from netizens. The leadership of Police Regional Office 9 is elated on the comment of a netizen in Facebook regarding of the acts of a rookie policeman, PO1 Den-Al J Pasil by rendering appropriate first aid to an old woman who was injured in said vehicular accident.
A Facebook user saluted and commended PO1 Pasil who is assigned at the Regional Public Safety Battalion 9 for his exemplary deeds as a first responder on the vehicular accident that happened in the morning of June 27, 2015. Said facebook user disclosed that he was about to go work when he saw PO1 Pasil administering first aid to the bloodied old woman. He personally witnessed how the subject PNCO responded and took care of the victim, saving her life. He suggested that PO1 Pasil must be given appropriate award for fulfilling his responsibilities and doing his job to protect, and especially to save life.
On June 27, 2015 at around 8:00 AM, PO1 Pasil was on his way to render duty riding a motorcycle. Upon reaching the accident scene, he saw the bloodied victim lying on the road in front of Sta. Cruz Market. Immediately, he assisted and gave her first aid, before she was rushed to the nearby hospital for treatment. PO1 Pasil is a Registered Nurse. Imbued with his skills as a nurse, he extended the life of the unfortunate victim.
The splendid act displayed by PO1 Pasil in helping the victim is a manifestation of a disciplined policeman. It can be attributed to the guidance of our Acting Regional Director, Police Chief Superintendent Edgar O Basbas, who constantly reminds all policemen under his wing to always give their best in rendering duty to the public, especially in protecting lives.
The PCOS, PNCOs and NUP of Police Regional Office 9 joins the PRO9 Acting Regional Director in congratulating PO1 Den-Al Pasil for a job well-done in helping and saving the life of a vehicular accident victim is which worthy to be emulated by his peers.
