3 Out of 6 Cops Mentioned In President Duterte’s List Yield to PRO9

Three out of the six police personnel assigned at the Police Regional Office 9 mentioned earlier by President Rodrigo Duterte who are among the suspected drug protectors in the region yielded to this police office at about 3:00 in the afternoon of August 7, 2016.

Police Chief Superintendent Billy B Beltran, Acting Regional Director, Police Regional Office 9, said that on Sunday morning, Duterte mentioned the names of PCI Ibrahim Jambiran, PO3 Omar Juani, PO3 Darryl Paje, PO1 Rommel Mansul and PO1 Pierre Dizo as among the 158 personalities suspected to be involved in the illegal drug trade in the country.

PCI Ibrahim Jambiran, who was earlier placed on the rooster of Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) in Duterte’s list, is no longer assigned and connected with PRO9.

PO3 Juani was previously assigned at Zamboanga City Mobile Group, ZCPO, transferred to Zamboanga Del Norte Police Office.

PO3 Paje who was assigned at Tampilisan MPS, PRO9 failed to report to PRO9 while PO1 Mansul is connected with Siocon MPS, PRO9.

Meanwhile, PO1 Dizo is assigned at the Zamboanga Del Sur Police Office and is undergoing Close Quarter Battle (CQB) course in RSTU, Mercedes, Zamboanga City.  

PRO9 reiterates the strong pronouncements of the C, PNP PDG DELA ROSA that it will hunt down all rogue cops in the organization involved in illegal drugs. It does not and will never condone any member of the organization who violates the law and gets involved in illegal activities. Those who are guilty are strongly urged to change or surrender. Nonetheless, all those involved in such, shall be sanctioned accordingly and shall be subject to dismissal from police service if proven guilty.
