2 Drug Personalities Nabbed in ZC Drug Bust Operation

Two individuals listed in the priority/watch list of RSOG 9 and a known drug distributor were arrested in separate drug buy-bust operations carried out by operatives of RID-RSOG9 in Purok 8, Dacon Homes, Barangay Recodo and Barangay Suterville, Zamboanga City on October 18, 2016 at about 10:40 PM and 11:50 PM respectively.


Suspects Edilberto Ramos y Figoro aka “Jun-Jun”, 38, resident of said place, and Edilberto Ramos a.k.a. “Jun-Jun”, a known drug pusher in Brgy Recodo, this city, is included in the priority/watch list of RID9.

A pack containing suspected shabu, several drug paraphernalia, and marked money were confiscated from suspect.

Another suspect, Fatima Jamaluddin y Abdulla a.ka. “Tima”, 30, resident of Brgy Upper Calarian, this city, was arrested in Barangay Suterville. Jamaluddin is also included in the priority/watch list. She is a known drug distributor in Brgy. Upper Calarian who distributes illegal drugs to drug pushers in Brgy Recodo and other barangays in Zamboanga City.

Two plastic packs of suspected shabu, marked money, and Honda XRM 125 motorcycle bearing plate number JA51873 were confiscated from suspect. The suspect is apparently pregnant when she drove her motorcycle to deliver shabu at the aforementioned place.

Both suspects are temporarily detained at Zamboanga City Police Station 8 and Zamboanga City Police Station 9, respectively, pending the filing of appropriate charges in court.  

As this developed, PCSUPT BILLY B BELTRAN, PRO9 Acting Regional Director, lauded and commended the operating police units for a job well done and for their utmost efforts that resulted in the arrest of the High Value Target drug personalities.
