3 Drunk Troublemakers Netted in Dapitan

Two individuals said to under the influence of liquor were arrested during a police response after they allegedly went wild at the 3J videoke house in Barangay Sta. Cruz, Dapitan City, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 9:45 PM on March 1, 2017.

The arrested persons were identified as Jerome Quitong Daymiel, 24, resident of Barangay Uno, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte, and Danilo Calaguan Labisig, 24, of Brgy. Kauswagan, Dapitan City. Both suspects were still making trouble when the police arrived at the scene. This prompted the team to pacify the duo, but the suspects resisted and shoved the police officers. They were arrested and brought to Dapitan City Police Station for proper disposition.



A man armed with bolo was arrested by Dapitan City Police Station after he allegedly went wild and chased someone in Barangay Ilaya, Dapitan City at about 8:45 PM on March 1, 2017. The suspect was identified as Armando M. Bael, 50, resident of said place. Initial investigation revealed that the suspect, believed to be intoxicated, approached Ronel Sami Mahametano and grabbed his collar, prompting the latter to push the suspect. Armando drew out his bolo and tried to stab the victim but the latter was able to evade and run away. Responding PNP personnel arrested the suspect and confiscate his. Armando is now detained at Dapitan CPS for proper disposition.
