Three High Value Target drug suspects were arrested while a total of Php 60,000.000.00 worth of shabu were confiscated during an anti-illegal drug operation carried out by the Station Drug Enforcement Team (SDET) of Zamboanga City Police Station 6 (Tetuan) at Vallerosa Subdivision, Barangay Sinunuc, Zamboanga City at about 8:30 AM on June 24, 2017. This is considered to be the largest haul in the campaign against illegal drugs in Zamboanga City.
PSUPT NONITO ASDAI, Zamboanga City Police Station 6 Station Commander, identified the arrested suspects as Almujir Sabtal y Usman a.k.a “Ogie”, 29, resident of Luuk municipality in Sulu province, and Carmin Aliakbar Maluddiny, 36, and Sakur Jimo Alijam, 26, both residents of said subdivision in Brgy. Sinunuc.
Confiscated from the suspects were a small sachet as buy-bust item, and three large packs of shabu weighing approximately three kilos with an estimated street value of Php 60,000,000.00 and the marked money used in the operation.
The confiscated drugs were turned-over to PNP Regional Crime Laboratory Office 9 for qualitative and quantitative examinations. The suspects are presently under police custody prior to their inquest proceedings.
