Two high value target drug personalities were arrested while several sachets of suspected shabu were confiscated during a joint law enforcement operation conducted by PDEA 9, PIB ZSBPPO and Ipil MPS in Purok Tubigan, Barangay Veterans Village, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay about 2:40 PM of June 30, 2017.
The arrested suspects were identified as Jameson Soque, 30, and Daryl “Jef-Jef” Soque, 26. Said suspects are included in a drug syndicate operating in Ipil and Naga municipality. Confiscated from them were a Colt cal. 45 pistol with serial no. 539276, nine sachets of suspected shabu, and numerous drug paraphernalia. The arrested persons are now in the custody of PDEA.
A street level drug pusher was arrested by operatives of Salug MPS and PDEA during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Poblacion East, Salug, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 11:00 PM on June 29, 2017. Said suspect was identified as Nido Piňero Quipot, 53, of said barangay. Confiscated from him were two sachets of suspected shabu, marked money, and a motorcycle. The suspect is presently detained at said police station for filing of appropriate charges in court.
The Drug Enforcement Unit of Zamboanga Del Sur PPO conducted an operation in San Francisco District, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 1:00 PM on June 30, 2017. The operation resulted in the arrest of Roy Daral Jumahadi, 37, an active member of CAFGU residing in said area. Three sachets of shabu and marked money were seized from the suspect who is presently detained at ZDSPDEU for filing of appropriate charges in court.
Two drug suspects were apprehended by operatives of Siocon MPS after they were caught transacting illegal drugs at the vicinity of Siocon Public Cemetery in Brgy. Manaol, Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte at about 12:45 PM on June 30, 2017. Siocon MPS identified the arrested suspects as Apolonio Amper Ranas, 25, and Rennie Sumondod Suson, 20, both residents of Brgy. Poblacion, Baliguian, Zamboanga Del Norte. Confiscated from them were a small sachet of shabu and drug paraphernalia. Both suspects and the confiscated items were brought to Siocon MPS for proper disposition.
