10 Persons Sniffing Rugby, 5 Sex Workers Rounded-up

Members of Criminal Investigation Section of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 arrested two rugby-sniffing female minors along RT Lim Boulevard, Zamboanga City at about 5:00 PM on August 8, 2017. The rescued minors were immediately turned-over to Social Development Center (SDC) for proper disposition.

Personnel of Investigation Section, Detective Management Unit, Women and Children Protection Desk, and Zamboanga City Police Station 11 COMPAC conducted Oplan Rugby Boys/Girls within Zamboanga City Proper specifically along Murga and Sevilla Streets at about 5:00 PM on August 10, 2017. Operatives rounded-up eight individuals including three minors. Subject persons are temporarily placed in the custody of ZCPS11 for proper disposition.


Zamboanga City Police Office Women and Children Protection Desk conducted a rescue operation on free-lance sex workers within the city proper near Saint Joseph church in Barangay Zone 3, Zamboanga City at about 10:20 PM on August 9, 2017. This resulted in the rescue of five female sex workers. The rescued females were brought to ZCPO for individual profiling/monitor and proper disposition.
