2 Suspected Robbers Arrested in San Roque, Drugs Found

A robbery incident was reported to ZCPS7 by a lawyer residing of Gov. Ramos Avenue Extension, San Roque, Zamboanga City on August 19, 2017. Accordingly, at about 9:00 PM that night, the victim discovered that his Hyundai Starex which was parked along 2nd Street in Brgy. San Roque, was forcibly opened and some of his personal belongings were stolen.

At around 11:30 AM the following day, personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 7 apprehended Charlie Abores y Fernando, 37, resident of 1st Street, of same barangay, and Allan Dela Cruz y Dungog, 36, resident of Armor Village, Brgy. San Jose Gusu. Said personalities were believed to be involved in the said robbery incident. Questioning and body search on Abores, who was accosted in 1st Street, led to the discovery of a sachet of suspected shabu. Another follow-up operation by ZCPS7 in Armor Village, resulted in the arrest of Dela Cruz who yielded a small sachet of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia. Subject persons and all confiscated items are now under the custody of ZCPS7 for filling appropriate charges in court.
