Customer Nabbed in Videoke House for Loose Firearm

A concerned citizen called-up Tabina MPS at about 4:05 PM on August 25, 2017, regarding an unidentified person having drinking liquor at Oyoa’s videoke house located in Port Area, Purok Saniblangis, Poblacion, Tabina, who was seen carrying a short firearm and bragging about it to his companions.

The responding policemen saw the subject person carrying a short firearm, prompting them to immediately arrest the suspect, later identified as Marlon Gadunan Ojas, 31, a fisherman residing in San Pedro District, Pagadian City. The suspect failed to present a license to possess or a permit to carry firearm outside his residence. Confiscated from him was a Norinco caliber .45 pistol 1911A1 with serial number 492785 loaded with eight rounds of ammunition. The arrested person is temporarily detained at Tabina MPS for filing of appropriate case.
