Alicia, Zamboanga Sibugay - A Chinese National who has been held captive for almost two months by suspected members of Abu Sayyaf Group was recovered by the joint elements of Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Police Provincial Office Intelligence Branch, Provincial Public Safety Company and Alicia Municipal Police Station at Sitio Lugay in Barangay Naga on Monday morning, November 5, 2014 at around 3:00 AM.

Another Abandoned Motorcycle Recovered in Dapitan

Dapitan City - Dapitan City Police Station received a telephone call from a resident of Barangay Dawo at about 11:33 in the morning of November 3, 2014, informing them that about an abandoned motorcycle near the house of one of the residents in said place. Elements of Dapitan City Police Station led by PO3 Morsolo Elopre proceeded to the area to verify the said report. The team recovered an abandoned red Racal motorcycle without plate number. Vehicle is now under the custody of said MPS for proper disposition.

Tukuran PNP Apprehends 1 for Drug Possession

Tukuran, Zambaonga del Sur - A checkpoint was conducted by Tukuran Police Station led by Police Senior Inspector Gilzen Niño Manese along Purok Madasigon, Barangay San Carlos at about 7:40 PM on November 2, 2014 which resulted in the arrest of Samsodin Samuay y Lao. He was apprehended when a sachet of suspected shabu and other drug-related materials were found in his possession. Suspect, along with his motorcycle were placed under the custody of Tukuran MPS for proper disposition.

Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur - An individual with a standing warrant of arrest for light threat voluntarily surrendered to Tabina Police Station. Accordingly, suspect Michael Algar y Torres, appeared at said station and submitted himself to the authorities based on the arrest warrant docketed under Criminal Case No. 07-2-40T issued by Judge Oscar S. Cabarron with a recommended bail bond of Php 2,000.00. Suspect is detained at Tabina MPS for proper disposition.
