ARD PRO9 Administers Oath-Taking of Newly Recruited PO1s and NUPs

Police Chief Superintendent Miguel C. Antonio Jr., Acting Regional Director of PRO9 administered the oath-taking ceremony of the newly-appointed fourteen Police Officer 1 recruits and thirty-three Non-Uniformed Personnel on October 30, 2015.

The oath taking was witnessed by members of the Command Group, Police Commissioned Officers, Police Non-Commissioned Officers and Non-Uniformed Personnel of Police Regional Office 9, which was held at the PRO9 Multi-purpose Hall, Camp Col. Romeo A. Abendan, Mercedes, Zamboanga City.

The 33 newly appointed Non-Uniformed Personnel are designated as Radio Operators (Salary Grade 4) who will be distributed to the different PPOs of Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga Sibugay, Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga City Police Office and Isabela City Police Station.

At present, the newly appointed NUPs are undergoing pre-orientation seminar at PRO9 Regional Headquarters for two weeks prior to their deployment.

On the other hand, the 14 newly appointed PO1s were hired to fill-up the 280 Police Officer 1 regular quota of this Police Regional Office.

The newly appointed PO1s will undergo the mandatory six months Public Safety Basic Recruit Couse (PSBRC) at the Regional Training School 10 in Cagayan De Oro City.  After the completion of PSBRC, they will be required to undergo another six months of Field Training Program (FTP) and forty-five days of PNP-SCOUT prior to their deployment to Regional Public Safety Battalion 9.

The PRO9 Acting Regional Director congratulated the newly appointed PO1s and NUPs. He advised them to give their best in serving the people and to never be involved in any illegal activities that could affect the good image of the organization.
