Following is a reported scam SMS message sent by a concerned citizen:


The public is advised not to believe and ignore such deceptive message from unverified senders to avoid being a victim of an elaborate scam which can lead to financial loss, identity theft, and other forms of cybercrime. Those who reply to such messages will be at risk of receiving more scam SMS in the future as their number will be registered by the scammers as active.
