To their surprise, the cornered man turned out to be Pedot Malazarte, who is included in the illegal drugs watch list in Imelda town. Due to his suspicious action, the PNP subjected him to a body search. The policemen merely recovered drug paraphernalia. Thus, he was formally arrested for violation of sec.12, R.A. 9165. The duo was subsequently brought to Imelda Municipal Police Station for documentation and proper disposition.
