New PO1s Send-Off Ceremony

455 new police officers 1 of Police Regional Office 9 (PRO-9) were set to assign and deploy to the Regional Mobile Forces Battalion 9 and Provincial/City Public Mobile Forces Battalion following their Send-Off Ceremony held at PRO9 Quadrangle, Camp Col Romeo A Abendan, Mercedes, Zamboanga City at about 9:00 AM of February 21, 2018.

These new police personnel have already completed six (6) months Public Safety Basic Recruit Course (PSBRC) and six (6) months Field Training Program (FTP) that honed their efficiency and competence as law enforcement officers. In addition, the 455 police officers also had undergone the 60-day Basic Internal Security Operation Course (BISOC) training, a revision of the 45-day Special Counter-Insurgency Operations Unit Training (SCOUT). The BISOC training is designed to equip the new breed of cops with the knowledge, attitude, skills, and values that make them more capable and skilled once they get assigned to the public safety forces.
