Advisory on Rising Incidence of Vehicle Mishaps in ZamPen

The Police Regional Office 9 (PRO9) expressed alarm over the rising number of deaths and injured due to road mishaps at the National Highway in the region. From June 5-12, 2018, the PRO9 Regional Operation Center tallied a total of thirteen (13) vehicular accidents occurred at the provinces/cities in the region and registered eight (8) deaths and forty-six (46) injured, respectively.

Based on the investigation, some of the causes of the road accidents are as follows: over speeding, human errors such as counter flowing, drunk driving, losing control of the vehicle, illegal turning and undisciplined drivers. As this developed, the public most especially the motorists are advice to drive defensively with caution. Being a disciplined driver will reduce the chance of accidents and will make the road safer for everyone.
