Camp Col Romeo A Abendan, Zamboanga City – The Police Regional Office 9 ordered the establishment of PNP Help Desks in all police stations all over the region to facilitate the return of Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs) to their respective homes after being stranded due to community quarantine. PBGEN FROILAN F QUIDILLA, Regional Director, PRO9, stated that these Help Desks will expedite the processing of Travel Authority application of the LSIs as a requirement for their movement.

The Regional Director added that LSIs only need two requirements for them to go home: a medical certificate obtained from a municipal or city health office and authority to travel issued by the PNP.

He reminded that before the PNP will issue the travel authority, the LSIs must first secure a medical certificate from the municipal or city health office where they were stranded, certifying that they have never been in close contact of any suspect, probable, or confirmed COVID-19 case, and has already been tested negative for COVID-19 if they were previously positive of the virus.

PBGEN QUIDILLA adviced the LSIs to visit the respective help desks in the police stations where they were stranded or contact the operation center of the PPOs/City Police for any inquiries regarding the guidelines for the issuances of Travel Authority: Zamboanga City Police Office–09978558138; Zamboanga del Sur PPO– 09457758340; Zamboanga Sibugay PPO -09778490091; Zamboanga del Norte PPO – 09171127524/09364655300 and Isabela City Police Office - 09177013250
