Family of Slain Cop Received Cash Benefits
Camp Col Romeo A Abendan, Zamboanga City – Police Regional Office 9 (PRO9) handed over the cash benefits to the bereaved family of police officer who was killed in a law enforcement operation in Purok 6, Barangay Recodo, Zamboanga City last August 11, 2020.
Maria Teresita F Balasabas, the surviving wife of PSSg Larry P Balasabas, PNP member assigned at Zamboanga City Police Station 9 and children received a cash benefits amounting to P358, 000, 00 during the ceremonial turnover of PSMBFI claims held at PRO9 Officer’s Lounge, Camp Col Romeo A Abendan, Zamboanga City at 10:00 AM, August 25, 2020.
PBGEN JESUS D CAMBAY, JR, Regional Director, PRO9 also handed over a token of sincerity to the surviving spouse and children of the slain cop and cash amount of P36, 000. 00 as part of the PNP’s Special Financial Assistance.The cash amount extended to the beneficiaries of late PSSg Balasabas is just a portion of the total full amount of P1,047,850.00 which will be released upon completion of required documents needed to support the claim.
