Sixteen K9 dogs together with their respective handlers demonstrated their capability during their initial explosive detection scenarios at PRO9 Multi-Purpose Hall of Camp Col Romeo A Abendan, Mercedes City on August 25, 2020.
The initial capability demonstration is part of the ongoing Explosive Detection Dog and Handlers Course. Barely a month and fifteen days they already have developed the working routine of the dogs to their handlers. The Explosive Detection Dog and Handlers Course's primary responsibility is to combat terrorism acts specifically the use of IEDs. With this kind of training, we can achieve our vision to make Zamboanga Peninsula a safer place to live, work, visit , study and do business.
