₱ 1.8 Million Worth Shabu Seized from Drug Personality in Zamboanga City

Camp Col Romeo A Abendan, Zamboanga City – The Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) of the Zamboanga City Police Station 11 (Central) led by PMAJ Chester N Natividad arrested a newly identified drug personality and seized some ₱ 1.8 Million worth of suspected shabu in an anti-illegal drugs operation in Don Toribio St., Barangay Tetuan, Zamboanga City at 6:30 PM of January 13, 2021.

PBGEN Ronaldo Genaro E Ylagan, Regional Director, PRO9 identified the arrested drug personality as Nurbaser Sakandal y Abubakar, 32 years old, male, married, born on June 24, 1990, no formal education, jobless, resident of Brgy Campo Islam, Zamboanga City.

Recovered from the suspect were Three (3) packs of heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated DDB value of ₱1,800,000.00 weighing more or less 150 grams, one (1) sling bag, two (2) bills of ₱100.00 as marked money and ninety nine (99) pieces of Php 1,000.00 as boodle money.

Confiscated items were brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for laboratory examination, while arrested suspect is now under the temporary custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 (Central) for proper disposition.

As this developed, PBGEN Ylagan commended the unwavering effort of Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) under PCOL Rexmel Reyes for the relentless and continues anti-illegal drugs operation in the city. (PIO-PRO9)
