PRO9 Deploys PNP Personnel for the 2022 National and Local Elections

Police Regional Office 9 under the leadership of PBGEN FRANCO P SIMBORIO, Regional Director held the Send-off Ceremony for Election Duties at the PRO9 Quadrangle, Camp Col Romeo Abendan, Mercedes, Zamboanga City at 8:30 AM of April 7, 2022. The ceremony is held simultaneously with the National Headquarters at Camp Rafael T Crame, Quezon City with PGEN DIONARDO B CARLOS, Chief, PNP.

The event started with the presentation and turnover of contingents followed by the Send-off Ceremony proper. 405 PNP personnel composed of 241 BISOC trainees, 100 PSBRC trainees, and 64 Reactionary Standby Support Force (RSSF) composing of 3 Police Commissioned Officers and 61 Police Non-Commissioned Officers were blessed prior to their deployment.

The deployment of PRO9 personnel is intended to increase manpower so that the efforts on the public safety, peace and order maintenance, and the enforcement of election related laws are imposed and observed in the community, with the end goal of achieving safe, accurate, and free elections in 2022.
