The Police Regional Office 9 holds a 2-day Cascading Seminar-Workshop on Red Teaming from November 12 to 13, 2018 held at the Zamboanga City Disaster Reduction and Risk Management Office (ZCDRRMO), Zamboanga City.
The Police Regional Office-9 (PRO-9) on Monday awarded the “Medalya ng Kagalingan (PNP Merit Medal)” to two of its officers and four personnel for their "laudable operational accomplishment." Police Chief Supt. Emmanuel Luis Licup, PRO-9 director, led the awarding of medals after the Monday flag raising ceremony at Camp Col. Romeo Abendan that houses the PRO-9 headquarters in Barangay Mercedes, this city.
More than 700 residents here, mostly marginalized Badjao indigenous people (IP), benefited from the one-day Medical-Dental and Community Assistance Package (MEDCAP) caravan initiated by the Police Regional Office-9 (PRO-9) on November 10, 2018. The MEDCAP, held in partnership with the PRO-9 Officer’ Ladies Club chairs by Mrs Marjorie Licup, was conducted in Barangay Mariki, Zamboanga City, one of the greatly-affected areas during the 2013 Zamboanga siege.

Members of the various PNP Advisory Councils of Police Regional Office 9 convened for the 2nd time during the 2nd Regional Advisory Council Summit held at the Zamboanga Del Norte Convention and Sports Center, Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte on October 26, 2018 with the theme “Commitment of PRO9 Advisory Councils and the PNP to the sustainable Transformation towards Security and Good Governance”.
